Quiēs

Quiēs is the very first guitar of the "Local Line": a line of instruments built only with European tonewood sourced from certified suppliers. As so, it features many uses of the wood from the Walnut tree: the back and sides, fingerboard, bridge, and even internal linings are made from this incredible local material.

Walnut makes for a great lightweight bridge that, in unison with the low-density Moon Spruce soundboard, gives a clear and focused sound. It has a Hauser-inspired plantilla and it is French-polished all around.

Quiēs is a Latin term meaning 'quietude', 'calmness', and, figuratively, 'dream(ing)'. It is not a quiet instrument, though its melodic sweetness and high sensitivity to piano and pianissimo range dynamics make for a dream machine for the studio environment.
