Tempestas

Tempestas is a powerful combination of wood from different parts of the world: its soundboard of Canadian Western Red Cedar is paired with Wenge from Africa. An interesting choice, the low density and warm colored Cedar couples very well with the very dense, deep dark Wenge, making this guitar very rich in sound and resonance. To complete the colorful presence of this instrument, fingerboard, faceplate, bridge, and nut are made out of stunning Pau Ferro, a sturdy South American alternative to Rosewood. All around french polished. As usual, all wood sourced from responsible dealers.

Tempestas is a storm in appearance, name, and also, more importantly, sound. Ready response with great power and carrying sustain. It is not dark, as the name may imply: its most prominent characteristic is its brilliance.
